The Cursed Rose and the Witch

the kingdom of “Aetheria,” famous for its gardens glittering with luminous flowers, there lived a young girl named Lillian.

Lillian was no ordinary painter; she was a gifted artist with the ability to capture the most minute details of nature. Yet, she lived in isolation because of a birth defect in her right hand, which made her ashamed to hold her paintbrush in front of others.

One day, Lillian heard about an old sorceress who lived in an isolated tower on top of the Sunset Mountain. It was said that she had the power to turn tragedy into a miracle. Driven by despair and a strong desire to become normal, Lillian secretly left her village and headed towards the sorceress’s tower.

After a difficult and exhausting journey, she arrived at the tower, where she found the sorceress waiting for her. The sorceress looked at her with wise eyes and said, “I know what you are looking for. I will grant you the perfection you desire, but you must pay a price.

“”Anything, my lady!” Lillian replied desperately. The sorceress gave a sinister smile and presented Lillian with a dark black rose that no one had ever seen before. “This rose carries a powerful curse. It will erase your defect, but in return, everything you paint will wither and turn to black, and the rose will absorb your beauty and joy. You will have only one choice: to paint what you want to get rid of.

“Lillian took the rose and felt a strange power surge through her body. In an instant, her hand became perfect. But she soon discovered that the sorceress’s curse was real. Every beautiful painting she made would wither and turn into something ugly, and the vibrant colors would fade into a dreary gray. She realized that the price was high, and she had lost the one thing she loved more than anything else: her art.The Light in the Heart of DarknessLillian felt desperate and returned to her village, carrying the cursed rose that was gradually draining her happiness.

One day, a powerful storm struck the village, destroying the Queen’s garden, which was the pride of the entire kingdom. Everyone tried to bring the garden back to life, but to no avail.Lillian remembered the sorceress’s words: “You must paint what you want to get rid of.”She decided to take a risk. She picked up her brush and began to paint a huge canvas. But this time, she did not paint the beautiful flowers; she painted the storm that destroyed the garden. She painted the strong winds, the black clouds, and the dead earth. As she painted, she felt the power of the cursed rose transfer into the painting. And as soon as she finished the last stroke, the black rose vanished into thin air.The EndingLillian returned to her life, but this time she was different.

She no longer painted to make things perfect, but to express her feelings and remember the beautiful moments. She would paint people’s flaws, but turn them into lessons. She would paint sadness, to turn it into hope. She realized that true magic was not in the cursed rose, but in the heart of a person who sees beauty in everything, even in the parts that the world considers imperfect. From that day on, Lillian lived to celebrate the beauty that others couldn’t see, and she shared her art with the world without being ashamed of her hand, which had become a symbol of her journey and her strength. The end LAYAL 7☆7
