Deep within the dark, mystery-shrouded forest stood Death Mountain, looming before a cluster of trees said to be impenetrable, as per the village legend.
Locals claimed that Death Mountain was teeming with evil spirits lying in wait for anyone daring enough to trespass. On one enchanted night, beneath a glowing moon, a group of adventurers โ along with a small girl โ decided to uncover the secrets of Death Mountain.
As they climbed the towering slopes, fierce winds howled around them, and strange sounds echoed through the air.Reaching the summit, they found a gate carved from black stone โ guarding what seemed to be the entrance to a dark world no one was meant to discover.
Without hesitation, they pressed on.Inside the gate, they were plunged into narrow, shadowy tunnels filled with eerie sounds and creeping figures. It felt as if ancient ghosts watched them from every corner.Eventually, they arrived at an ancient cavern dimly lit by a flickering torch.
At its center stood a weathered statue โ its eyes, carved with chilling precision, seemed to watch them.As they approached it, a deep rumble echoed through the cave, sending them running in terror. The group returned to the village with trembling hearts and unanswered questions โ was the legend true, or merely a terrifying illusion? But they had forgotten somethingโฆ someone.
The little girl.Left behind, frightened and teary-eyed, she turned aroundโฆ only to find a black cat staring back at her.โCome to my loving heart, little cat,โ she whispered.โHide your claws, and rest within. Let my eyes meet yours, where garnet glimmers deep within the metal.โShe approached the statue with the cat in her arms. Hugging it tightly, her body โ and her sorrowful heart โ turned to stone, sealed forever in her stone tears.
